Ananya Hi-Tech Farms is implementing aggressive growth plans in vastly expanding the area under cultivation of vegetables and fruits. The company is looking for farm operations managers who will be responsible for:
a) ensuring all farm infrastructure including poly-houses, the irrigation networks, electrical systems, equipment and machinery (such as tractors, pumps, sprayers, cold storage units) are all in good working condition at all times.
b) ensuring all farm operations are carried out per schedule. This includes managing availability of labor and other staff, availability of external resources where applicable (such as tractors, delivery vehicles), in a timely manner
c) ensuring the quality and productivity of work carried out by various laborers and other staff
d) ensuring all crop input materials such as seeds, fertilizers and chemicals are sourced from reliable sources at the most competitive prices and that these are made available to the farm in a timely manner
e) reporting regularly to the management on status and plans for the near and medium terms.
The successful candidates should be a graduate with at least 10 years experience in a managerial position; the candidates should be ready and willing to travel as needed; good verbal and written communications skills and MS-Office expertise are highly desirable.
