Naturals is a heritage hill-grown variety
cultivated by the Pahariya tribal community
in the Raj Mahal hill region of Jharkhand,
India. The crop is grown entirely under rainfed conditions without synthetic chemicals,
benefiting from mineral-rich volcanic soil and
clean, pollution-free air. Annual community
production generally ranges between 2,000
and 5,000 kilograms, depending on monsoon
conditions. The grain is harvested manually,
sun-dried, cleaned and stored traditionally to
maintain natural purity. This millet is widely
suitable for flour milling, healthy staple foods,
traditional flatbreads, porridge formulations,
fermented batter preparation and specialty
health food processing. Typical shelf life under dry, hygienic storage
conditions is 9 to 12 months. Nutritionally, the product is naturally gluten-free
and rich in fibre and minerals, making it relevant to health-conscious and
